My interest in sports started early in life, revolving around horses, then at the age of 17 I began running and using the gym regularly and I have never really stopped.
Whilst travelling through North America in the early 1990’s I qualified as a P.A.D.I scuba diver, which eventually led to a career as a Divemaster/ Underwater Videographer in the Cayman Islands. During that time, I trained as an aerobics instructor but running and the gym were still my passion.
In the late 1990’s I qualified as a Health and Fitness Instructor and became a gym instructor at a Health Club in London. I subsequently became a personal fitness trainer in 1997 and later added 2 nutrition degrees and a diploma in sports nutrition to my portfolio.
Because of a childhood dream, I began training for the British Stunt Register and became a Stuntwoman in 1999. This detour from my fitness professions still allowed me to pursue my love of sports, incorporating martial arts, sky diving, trampolining, rock climbing and fencing into a busy schedule.
To bring some balance to my life I have dabbled in yoga, for over 20 years, but with greater commitment in the last 3 years. I qualified as a 200hr yoga teacher in 2016 and started teaching as soon as I finished my course. Although this is the beginning of my yoga teacher education, I already love to share my knowledge with other yogis as I continue down this path in my life.
