FITNESS KICKBOXING

Fitness Kickboxing is a fun, energetic non-contact class based on the dynamic sparring movements from Taekwon-Do. Participants will learn the correct movement patterns for a multitude of explosive kicks as well as improving their flexibility and fitness levels. 

Background music will help to motivate the participants, pushing themselves through the many methods of training including skipping, pad work, footwork drills and shadow sparring. 

This high energy, fun and varied class will help those wanting to learn Kickboxing skills and challenge those with a bit more experience to become fitter and faster.

Classes are ideal for men and women beginners or those with no experience in Martial Arts as well as those with more experience, challenge yourself and come along for a fun session and great workout!

Normal gym attire or contact pants can be worn (a bottle of water and towel is advised), participants can bring their own gloves or borrow gloves from us.

In the session there may be some people who want to do contact Kickboxing, however they will be split from those doing the fitness version when sparring sessions happen, those doing Fitness Kickboxing are never forced to do the contact version. Specific situation drills, fitness, bag work and sparring will help those who compete the opportunity to push to a higher level.
